| Connecting with the Qur'aan Ukth Na'eemah
Are you one of those people who rarely touch the Qur'aan? Or do you read daily, but don't find it is having the impact on you that it should? Whatever the case may be, these are some simple tips that can help you connect with the Book of Allaah سبحانه وتعالى
1. Before you touch it, check your heart. The key to really benefiting from the Qur'aan is to check your heart first, before you even touch Allaah's Book view your intention and approach. Ask yourself, honestly, why you are reading it? Is it to just get some information and to let it drift away from you later? Remember that the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) was described by his wife as a "walking Qur'aan": in other words, he didn't just read and recite the Qur'aan, he lived it. |

| Oh what a day! What an absolutely fantastic day. 13th September 2008, a day I shall definitely remember for many years to come. The day we raised £50, 000 for Mali Children’s Village! The Village will cater for the needs of orphaned children and provide services such as a housing complex, education, health clinic etc. Easy Talk has made an intention to raise £100, 000 over a year to help contribute to the constructions of some houses. So on 13th September 2008, the Mali fundraising day began. |
